Branding guidelines:
- We work in CMYK color palette. Files in RGB and Pantone have to be converted, to reflect the correct colors in the print.
- When designing labels, add 2mm of bleed beyond the cut lines.*
- Prints on paper require at least 3mm of bleed beyond the cut lines.*
- To maintain the best quality, please send us vector graphics. Raster graphics should be at least 300 dpi.
- Send files in pdf or ai format.
- Convert fonts to curves (vectors). If files need to be edited by us (e.g. to change the name of a seed species) send us the files with the fonts used in the project in ttf or otf format.
- Try to keep a safe distance (margins) from cut lines and creases; approx. 2-3 mm. Pay attention to important elements, e.g. logos.*
- Avoid dark solid background across the entire surface. Print may crack on the creases.
- Elements made from paper can be white eco or kraft (brown). Take this into account when designing and remember to let us know about this choice.
- Engraving is only possible based on vector graphics. Letters in the graphic file should be at least 1 mm wide to ensure readability.
- UV printing is only possible based on vector graphics. UV printing is full colour printing carried out on a transparent substrate, white colour printing is possible. Graphics must be 2-3 mm from the cut line. For full-surface backgrounds, the label will be digitally printed on a white background.
- The seed paper is printed using the inkjet method. Due to the time-consuming nature of the process, we recommend avoiding a uniform background over the entire surface.
* During production, there may be shifts in printing of up to 2-3 mm. Bleeds and safe branding areas are there to minimize the margin of error.
